Now You See Me – Movie Drinking Games

now you see me 1

This drinking game is to be played with Now You See Me and some beer… some magic beer. I recommend playing with something from Magic Hat Brewing Company in Vermont.

1 drink – every time someone says “magic”
1 drink – every time someone drinks
1 drink – every time someone is hypnotized
1 drink – every time you see a playing card
1 drink – every time someone says “Four Horsemen” or you see the Four Horsemen symbol
1 drink – every time you see a spotlight

Now You See Me (2013) – Movie Reviews

Now-You-See-Me-Official-Movie-Trailer

You know what I think of magic? It’s for douches who can’t get laid. Do you think anyone would fuck Kriss Angel is he didn’t do magic tricks? Fuck no. That being said, Now You See Me is a perfect example of the only time magic is ever acceptable… in the movies. This crime caper flick has enough up its sleeve to entertain most people, and while it could have done so much more, the end product is ultimately satisfying.

The movie starts off introducing us to four magicians, who are all in varying states of worthlessness. Cut to a year later, and they’re all working in Vegas and calling themselves the Four Horsemen. After they rob a bank during one of their tricks, they become the focus of an investigation by FBI agent Dylan Rhodes and his smoking hot international police partner, Alma...

Stand Up Guys (2012) – Movie Reviews

Stand-Up-Guys-2012-Movie-Image

Christopher Walken and Al Pacino in a movie? That’s awesome… twenty years ago. Today, when watching Stand Up Guys, I simply see the face of death standing back at me. It can dye its hair, it can bang hookers, but really, that’s all Stand Up Guys is, a sad reminder that we’re all going to die sometime. It’s partially by design, and partially by accident, but Stand Up Guys turns out far gloomier than it was meant to be.

The film is about a pair of friends named Val and Doc. Val, played by a ridiculously hair-dyed Al Pacino, has just gotten out of jail after doing a 28 year stretch. Doc is his only remaining friend from the past, and he picks him up from the prison. Unfortunately, Val’s freedom is to be short-lived as a reticent Doc has been tasked with murdering Val...

Parker (2013) – Movie Reviews

Parker-2013-Movie-Title-Banner

At this point in his career, Jason Statham movies all feel exactly the same. Statham shows up and plays a hardass who has an easy way with the ladies. It’s action movie 101 stuff, and nothing here feels particularly new. Statham is Statham… and he rarely moves away from the persona he has created over the years. Parker is another example of a Statham movie, which will work for Statham fans, but for anyone looking for something new from our bald badass, it’s not to be found here.

In the film, Statham plays Parker, a thief who does a heist with a new group of dudes. Of course, these motherfuckers are going to double-cross him once the jobs over, and after they leave him lying in a ditch, left for dead, he sets about kicking some ass and getting paid...
