Star Wars Blu-Ray Release Date – Latest Blu-Ray Release Dates

For all you people out there who have been salivating over the much anticipated Star Wars Blu-Rays, I’ve got some good news for you. All of the main Star Wars flicks will be coming to Blu-Ray on September 16, 2011.

The Star Wars films will come in 3 different box sets. First up will be the 9-disc Star Wars: The Complete Saga set, which features all of the Star Wars flicks and three discs of special features, all with an SRP of 140 bucks. The second option is the Star Wars: The Original Trilogy set with an SRP of 70 bucks, which is really a great option for those of you out there who hate the newer films. The third option, which seems rather weird, is The Prequel Trilogy Boxset with an SRP of 70 bucks, although who would want to just buy those three films is a mystery to me.
